- Throughout my life I have benefited from the generosity of friends, teachers, coaches, and organizations. The list could go on. Like everyone I try to help when I can. I have always loved to run. This is a great opportunity to combine these life experiences with the boundless generosity of our community for Lorraine's Soup Kitchen. Monday Aug 22 Run #34
Leo and Mabel O'Neill were of the original founders for the Co-op of Sheridan Drive. This run was dedicated to them. As I ran through the area, I was reminded how we all benefit today from the hard work and foresight of our predecessors. Thank you to all the people like the O'Neills who took initiative. Thank goodness they made the Co-op flat! It was the only flat part of my run today. Hot, sunny summer day and I must have been tired. The Co-op reminded me of the Chicomansett Village where I grew up. Tomorrow I move off toward Ludlow.
