A summer day in October and Columbus Day to boot is a treat. I met with Lorraine's Soup Kitchen Board member, Attorney Bob LeFebvre, at the Boys and Girl's Club parking lot on Meadow Street for a 4 mile run. Bob is a one of those people that make Chicopee a really great place to live; a hard working businessman, who puts his family first and who makes time to volunteer. We ran down and around Clarendon Ave today, where Bob grew up.
Two (2) runs to go!! The last run is scheduled to finish Sunday morning at Lorraine's Soup Kitchen, right about 10:00am. I am inviting everyone who ran with me during the last 270 miles to run with me Sunday morning for the last 3 miles. The wonderful people at Lorraine's will have snacks for everyone and coffee when we finish. Anyone who wants to come just for the finish is welcome!! Sunday's last run will start about 9:30 on State Street (close to Chicopee Street).
