1200 Streets...280 Miles... Every Street in Chicopee!

Lorraine's Soup Kitchen and Pantry helps people every day! The Kitchen serves 100 meals each day to our neighbors who could otherwise go hungry. Monthly, over 500 families benefit from the groceries available in the Pantry. We can help!

Throughout my life I have benefited from the generosity of friends, teachers, coaches, and organizations. The list could go on. Like everyone I try to help when I can. I have always loved to run. This is a great opportunity to combine these life experiences with the boundless generosity of our community for Lorraine's Soup Kitchen. Thanks to my colleagues at Real Living Realty Professionals for their support and encouragement.

Wed Aug 17 Run 30+31

Two posts for the price of ONE! I ran last night and this am. Two great runs up and down both sides of Grattan Street on the Chicopee Falls side. Garrity Grove made for good parking. Another city treasure tucked away. My next run, #31 will be a 5 miler that takes me to Simonich. I have the honor of dedicating this run to Dick O'Neill. Dick was a person you could aspire to be. Nice, nice man, friendly, smart, athletic...he was a terrific fast pitch softball player for Buffalo Club, when I knew him. He worked at Uniroyal in management. But he used to take the time to play basketball with all of us neighborhood kids. His godchild, Jim O'Neill, asked me to dedicate this next run to Dick. He lived on Simonich. I will tell another story when I post the run. God Bless and keep you Dick.
